Activus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for long-term work in Nigg/Inverness.
Candidates must possess either an SMSTS or SSSTS certification along with First Aid training.
The role involves setting out, levelling, and surveying construction sites, as well as working with site plans and building information models.
The engineer will also oversee quality control, monitor health and safety, and resolve technical problems on-site.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with a competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per year.

Requirements:

SMSTS or SSSTS
First Aid

Duties(including but not limited to):

Setting out, levelling and surveying the construction site
Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
Overseeing quality control
Monitoring health and safety
Keeping a site diary
Resolving technical problems
Working in an office and on a construction site
