Field Service Engineer (Mobile Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / Forklift) 

Loughborough 

£30,000 - £40,000 Base Salary Dependant on Experience + Door to Door Travel (When Onsite) + Company Van + Overtime (OTE up to £40,000 -£45,000) + 23 Days Holiday + Bupa Medical & Dental + Tool Allowance

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday 

Field Service Engineer required for a well-established supplier and maintenance provider of forklifts. This is a great opportunity to join a family run business who have partnered with a leading forklift manufacturer, offering specialist training and development. 

The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills. This is a great opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry as the company can provide further training on forklifts. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment, covering client sites in a region from Birmingham, up to Sheffield and across to Lincoln. You will spend the first three to six months based from the Loughborough workshop for training. No stay away is required and overtime is available. 

The Field Service Engineer Role: 

· Service and repair of both company owned and customer forklift trucks

· Preventative maintenance to reduce unscheduled repairs

· Completion of company documentation

· Covering client sites in and around Birmingham, Loughborough, Sheffield and Lincoln

· No stay away

· 3-6 months workshop training 

The Candidate Required: 

· Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
