Machine Operative

Friday - Sunday Rotating shifts: 6.00am - 6.00pm week 1 Friday - Sunday 6.00pm - 6.00am week 2 Up to 15.25ph, Loughborough, Immediate Free Parking LE11 5ST

Due to continued growth, an opening to join a well, established recycling company, within their production department operating recycling machinery based in Loughborough, as a Machine Operative has arisen. We are looking for a Machine Operative who possesses previous experience working within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

  • Monitor and top up consumable and materials as and when required
  • Prepare materials and consumables
  • Assist with packing of finished goods
  • Assist with or complete Operator tasks where training and experience allows
  • Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems

Requirements of the Machine Operator:

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of H&S responsibilities within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
  • Previous labour-intensive role

We would expect the successful Production Operative to possess previous experience in a similar role be an excellent communicator and a real team player who enjoys being part of a busy team. You will be supported one to one to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within a busy fast paced environment. As the successful Production Operative you will have the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

You will be joining a. Reporting to the Production Manager; this role offers variety daily. The organisation is renowned for the delivery outstanding quality products & services, and they are keen to recruit an Production Operative who strives to offer the same.
