CLASS 2 DRIVER - NIGHTS

SUNDAY - THURSDAY: START TIMES

£18.84 - £26.54 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire, to work a night shift.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and this role may become permanent for the right candidate.

You must undergo a DBS Check for this role.

Rates of Pay

• £18.84 per hour basic
• £26.54 per hour overtime after 42 hours

Day to Day Duties

• Drive/operate Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Flexible for start times
• Complete cage deliveries to Hospital Trusts, GP Surgeries and Care Homes
• Use a tail lift correctly and safely
• Be available to cover ad hoc work where required
• Follow Company procedures and comply with driving rules and regulations
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and vehicle is well presented at all times

Essential Skills

• Held a valid UK Category C licence for a minimum of one year
• Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Have a minimum of one year experience driving Category C vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Complete a DBS check
• Positive can do attitude
• Willing to learn

Desirable Experience

• Experience making deliveries to GP surgeries, Hospitals & Care homes

Training

• Must pass a Driving Assessment on site with the client
