Class 2 Driver

Working any 5 shifts out of 7 (weekends are a must!)

Start times: A - 03:00 - 06:00 /B - 06:00 - 08:00/C - 09:00 - 12:00

Up to 12-hour shifts

Pay Rate: £14.50 - £18.00 per hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Normanton, West Yorkshire.

This role will be covering multi drop fridge work.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

You must be aged 25 or over for our client's insurance purposes.

Hourly Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday £14.50 per hour
Saturday £16.50 per hour
Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Drive Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
Multi Drop work (up to 15 drops)
Fridge work
Cage deliveries
Ensure vehicle is well presented at all times
Handball required
Abide by driving rules & regulations
Deliver to shops, restaurants, catering suppliers etc
Use a tail lift
Conduct vehicle inspections
Ensure all cargo is safe and secure

Essential Skills

Have held a valid UK Category C Driving Licence for at least two years
Hold a UK DIGI Card
Hold a UK CPC Card
No more than six penalty points
No major endorsement codes
Over the age of 25 due to insurance purposes
Excellent timekeeping
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service skills

Desirable Experience

Experience of covering fridge work is desirable

Training

Written and driving assessment is required.
