StaffCo Direct are operating as an employment business and actively recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for a company based in Wakefield.
We are looking for highly motivated Class 1 Day & Night Drivers with valid licenses, who can take on the companys ethos and assist us in the support of our clients day-to-day operation.
Remuneration (Umbrella Rates):
Monday to Friday Days £19.21
Monday to Friday Nights £20.54
Saturday £19.44
Sunday £20.59
Responsibilities:
- This will involve driving curtainside trailers doing between 3 -5 drops per shift.
- Some drops may include handball with others being forklift off.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Start times available around the clock.
Experience/Skills & Competencies:
- HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 24 months)
- Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
- Experience driving container loaded trailers
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Great communication skills
- Professional attitude
