Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Contract: Temp to Perm
Shifts:
- Day Shifts: Start between 08:00 and 09:00, 10-hour shifts
- Night Shifts: Start at 21:00, 10 to 12-hour shifts
Location:Normanton - West Yorkshire
Role Overview:
We are looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for both day and night shifts on a temp-to-perm basis.
Day Shift Responsibilities: You will be responsible for collecting goods from our customers using a curtainsider Class 1 vehicle. This role involves ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods with multiple collections throughout the shift.
Night Shift Responsibilities: The role will involve trunking to our internal Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) with one drop per shift. You will play a key role in our overnight logistics operations, ensuring our products reach their destinations on time.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
- Licence: A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- CPC & Digital tacho
- Skills: Strong knowledge of UK road networks, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Attributes: Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
