Job Title: Credit Controller

About Us: Search Consultancy are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a permanent basis. If you have a strong background in credit control and are ready to start as soon as possible, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and credit status.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to address any billing issues.
- Assist in setting up new customer accounts and credit limits.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a credit control or similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage, Excel, Outlook, and similar finance software
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No formal qualifications required.
What We Offer:
- Salary up to 27,000.
- Permanent position with hybrid working (3 days on-site).
- Full-time hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (37 hours per week).
