Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound plc business based in Normanton, West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their newest site to the company. Salary: £50,469.12 per annum (Basic rate, shift & disturbance allowance) + monthly production bonusLocation: Normanton, West YorkshireHours: days and nights shift pattern- every Saturday off!

Duties of this position:

  • Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
  • Attending to breakdowns
  • Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
  • Dealing with PPM’s
  • Working within a team environment- you will usually be partnered up with another Electrical Engineer throughout the day
  • Fault finding on PLC’s such as Siemans, Beckhoff and Mitzubishi

Desired experience of an Electrical :

  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have 3 years experience within a similar environment/ job role
  • Must have manufacturing experience.
  • Must be happy working days and nights on shift rotation.
  • Have experience of Fault finding withing previous roles.
  • Knowledge and experience of Siemens s7 PLC, Beckhoff PLC, Pilz Safety PLC and Mitsubishi PLC would also be desirable.
  • Have experience of working within an Electrical Maintenance Engineering role previously
  • Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
  • Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
