Key Responsibilities:

Support the Service Department in the repair and maintenance of hire fleet and customers' equipment.

Ensure a high quality of service and equipment to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

As a Electrician, you will be required to

Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers' equipment.

Perform fault location, diagnosis, and rectification to hire fleet and customers' equipment.

Prepare equipment for hire.

Install and disconnect equipment on-site (synchronising where appropriate).

Install and commission power to temporary site accommodation (wiring in where appropriate).

Load and unload vehicles.

Participate in call-out rota system.

Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.

Maintain tidy work areas through general housekeeping.

Complete and submit all company paperwork as per procedure.

Safeguard all company assets; ensure nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork.

Ensure cleanliness and serviceability of company vehicles or any occasional loan vehicles.

Promote teamwork and cooperation across the Generator Power Group of Companies.

Treat all employees and customers with professionalism and respect.

Act in the best interests of the Generator Power Group of Companies.

Follow safe working practices and adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental guidelines (ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001).

Contribute proactively to the company’s policy of continuous improvement.

Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

High school or equivalent

18th Edition

Electrical Certification Level 2 or 3

ECS Gold Card

C&G 2391 Inspecting Testing

Apprenticeship

AM2

Experience Required:

Experience with generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar)
