Flexographic Printer

Location- Normanton, West Yorkshire

Rate of pay: circa £31k-£32k inclusive of shift allowance

With an annual turnover of £60m, we are one of the UK's leading print solutions companies. We are now looking to grow our flexo print team at our Normanton site in West Yorkshire.

You will already be an experienced Flexographic Printer who’s used to setting up, operating and maintaining a flexographic printing press. Any experience in label printing would be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Producing high quality printed materials on a variety of substrates.
  • Adjusting press settings, such as speed, tension, and registration, to meet job specifications.
  • Monitoring the printing process to ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on the printing press, such as cleaning and lubricating.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing any equipment issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments to minimise downtime.

  • You have a mechanical aptitude for press maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • You can demonstrate knowledge of printing techniques, colour management, and press set up.
  • You take great pride in your work and want to contribute to the high standard of finished product.
  • You’re a great team player, conscientious with a flexible approach to work.
  • You can demonstrate good communication skills and an understanding of safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.

Work days and hours: 37.5 per week worked on a split shift of 6-2 / 2-10 Monday-Friday.
