PRINT ASSISTANT / FINISHER

LOCATION – Normanton, West Yorkshire - Must live within a commutable distance

Rate of pay: circa £26k-£27k inclusive of shift allowance

With an annual turnover of £60m, Hague Group is one of the UK's leading print management companies.  We are now looking to grow our labels print team at our Normanton site in West Yorkshire. 

You will already be an experienced Print Assistant / Finisher and will work effectively with the Printer to help ensure maximum output of product.  Your duties will include: 

  • Ensuring the required materials are available in full and provided on time to the press.
  • Cutting / folding / packing / labelling of the finished product.
  • Product quality inspections.
  • Keeping the area clean and tidy including waste removal from the press and disposal.     

As helping to ensure the production of a quality product is really important, you’re the type of person that takes pride in your work and wants to contribute to the high standard of finished product. 

If you have a current counterbalance fork truck license then that would be beneficial (but not essential as training will be provided).  This role involves extensive manual handling activities and you will be on your feet for most of the day. 

Type of person we are seeking: conscientious and well organised; has a keen eye for detail; safety-conscious; has good verbal communication skills; is a great team player and demonstrates a flexible approach to work.

Work days and hours: 37.5 per week worked 6-2 / 2-10 Monday-Friday although you need to be willing and able to work on a 3 shift operation that includes nights if required. 

Benefits include a salary of circa £26k-£27k inclusive of shift allowance, 27 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, pension, free on site parking.
