- Experience of working with regulatory permits, health & safety guidelines and site operating plans.
- Experience in landfill, quarrying and/or civil engineering.

- Execute quarry and waste management plans.
- Deliver a safe and controlled plan delivery according to agreed/legislated plan and methodology, within agreed timescales.
- Have a flexible approach to site operations and be able to adapt and respond to customer needs which may require changes to planned activities and new approaches to working.
- Manage plant defect reporting, minimising plant downtime.
- Completion of all site administration, including weekly costing information, purchase order submission, payroll, productivity reporting and compliance checklists.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and administration completed in accordance with company or external requirements, this includes but is not limited to, environmental, health and safety, HR and costing information.
- HR Management including, managing holidays, absenteeism, recruitment, reviews, performance management, training, and briefings.
- Responsible for maintaining site housekeeping standards and infrastructure.
- Manage all aspects of site compliance including environmental compliance.
- Responsible for site safety and security. Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes, and site requirements are carried out including development of risk assessments and method statements for all site related tasks and delivery of toolbox talks to all site personnel.
- Ensure complete site compliance with PPE requirements.
- Hold regular team meetings and facilitate team training.
- Provide comprehensive and timely handovers to the covering Manager.
- Ensure all work is carried out strictly in accordance with all published Company policies and procedures, including Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety policies, and procedures.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time and to enable the company to remain adaptable to changing markets and needs.
- A competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000
