Service Controller£23,000Permanent positionOnsite Free Parking on-site at NormantonYour new roleYour role will be to support the service manager with the entire depo service function. Whilst this is an administrative role by nature, you will be required to walk around the site checking stock and undertaking vehicle checks. Duties will include;
- Process customer calls to the Service Department.
- Complete management of manufacturer warranty process.
- Process chargeable & non-chargeable job sheets
- Recording duty on call forms and adding to the breakdown list.
- Consolidation of the service list.
- Resolution of service list queries.
- Create and distribute service lists.
- Create and distribute an overdue list.
- Process on/off/exchanges on to service list.
- Assist in the production of Management Reports.
- Ensure company vehicles or occasional loan vehicles supplied are kept clean and tidy at all times, serviced within manufacturer's guidelines, and ensure any defects are notified to correct parties and rectified in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
- Good Administration skills - A minimum of 1 year's experience is preferred and training on in-house systems will be provided.
- Ability to use your own initiative to complete daily tasks
- Positive attitude and have a genuine desire to help the team
- Plant service experience is preferable.
