SEN Casework OfficerWakefield

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Casework Officer to manage a caseload of children with Education Health and Care plans to ensure that all appropriate actions relating to statutory requirements are met.

You will be required to undertake casework relating to new requests for statutory assessment to ensure that the case is prepared for a decision by SEN panel. You will also write Education Health and Care Plans and make any amendments as required.

This position is:

  • Full time - 37 hours per week
  • Hybrid - 3 days in the office
  • Up to £280 ltd per day

We are looking for candidates with knowledge of SEN legislation and statutory procedures. You will also have extensive experience of working in the area of SEN, or substantial experience in a relevant area.

In order to perform this role, you will be required to travel around the district and beyond.
