Job Title: Senior Social Worker - SafeguardingLocation: Normanton, UK Salary: £40 Hourly Contract Length: 3 Months This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic safeguarding team based in the bustling Normanton, Wakefield. In this full-time role, you will be earning an attractive £40 per hour, working largely from the office with some potential for hybrid flexibility post probation. - Manage a varied caseload, focusing on complex statutory work to deliver timely assessments and strategic interventions. - Conduct in-depth assessments of children in need and those under child protection plans, formulating comprehensive care plans. - Forge strong collaborative relationships with partner agencies including health services, police, and voluntary groups to address safeguarding concerns effectively. - Utilize strong decision-making skills to determine appropriate levels of intervention, ensuring all decisions comply with legal and organizational frameworks. - Offer operational supervision and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their professional development. - Maintain precise and secure documentation of all assessments and outcomes, adhering to data protection guidelines.To be considered, you should possess a recognised degree in Social Work, current registration with Social Work England, and at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience, ideally within MASH settings.
