Your new role

  • Oversee the monitoring of all company telemetry systems and report any problems to the line manager in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the monitoring of all company telemetry alarm emails and forward to any relevant departments in a timely manner.
  • Assist telemetry system installers with configuration and labelling on company telemetry systems.
  • Liaise with Depot Managers for location and fitting of new telemetry hardware.
  • Monitor all company asset tracking software/platforms
  • Create accounts and logins for internal users and external customers for any platform as required.
  • Carry out spot checks against delivery notes to ensure customers requesting telemetry monitoring are receiving telemetry information.
  • Maintain a full watch on the seasonal GANTT chart for events, ensuring all equipment for the events has telemetry coverage and is visible from installation until off hire with any problems reported to the relevant department.
  • Safeguard all the company's assets. Nothing is to leave depots without correct paperwork.
  • Promote and encourage teamwork at all times. Follow up any improvement ideas from any areas of the telemetry system with the line manager.
  • Treat all employees and customers professionally and respectfully.
  • Always act in the best interests of the Generator Power Group of Companies, and be responsible for any acts or omissions that may bring yourself or the company into disrepute.
  • Always work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices. Follow all Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental guidance provided by the company - current and future notifications.
  • Proactively contribute to the company's policy of continuous improvement and encourage your staff to do so.
  • Carry out any other reasonably requested ad hoc duties from your line manager or the company management team.

What you'll need to succeed
You need to work at a fast pace in an administrative environment and have attention to detail.
Working with spreadsheets and Excel is essential to this role, in order to log information and provide reports to the depot Manager.
