Hours of work:
Tuesday to Thursday: 12:00 pm 8:30 pm
This is the perfect position for someone with experience working with transport and vehicle routing knowledge or someone who wishes to move into transport
Key responsibilities of the Transport Planner:
Organising drivers and the fleet both on-site and at regional depots to meet scheduled deliveries across the country
Optimising fleet routing to enhance customer service while ensuring compliance with legal regulations regarding driver working hours and fuel usage
Supporting the Transport Team in various administrative duties as needed
To fulfil the role of Transport Planner role you must:
Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Be confident in managing your work to achieve timed daily duties
Additional desirable experience:
A good national geographical knowledge
Experience in planning vehicle driving routes
A background in transport
Additional Information:
30 days holiday per year including statutory days increasing to 33 days after 6 years ofcontinuous employment with one extra day for each year of service (Pro-rata)
