An experienced Transport Supervisor is required for a fast-paced transport operation in Normanton. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a competitive salary of £36,000 per year once permanent.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Manage drivers, vehicle scheduling, and route planning
- Ensure all health & safety and legal requirements are met
- Address any transport-related issues, including delays and breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
- Proven experience in a similar transport supervisory role (essential)
- Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
