Search Recruitment are seeking a Finance Assistant for our client's East Lothian office on a 1 year fixed term basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide a range of finance administrative services to support our client's Finance department. If you have experience in a high-volume transactional finance department and are looking to join a supportive team, you would be encouraged to apply. Your key responsibilities will include:* Processing and issuing sales and purchase invoices.* Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to resolve invoice queries promptly.* Assisting with the preparation of payment runs to ensure timely payment.* Ad-hoc administrative and finance support as required.Key skills & experience you'll ideally have:* Previous experience working within a transactional finance team.* Experience with financial or ERP systems.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.* Demonstrable attention to detail.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.What's in it for you:* An equivalent salary range of 28k-31k, depending on experience.* Generous leave allowance.* Training and development opportunities.
