The ideal candidate for this role would have previous experience working on Highways projects with Tier 1 clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Set out, level, and survey the site using appropriate engineering equipment.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and project progress.
- Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries and quality documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to resolve technical challenges and deliver efficient solutions.
- CSCS card and other relevant site certifications.
- Experience working on major highway improvement schemes.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
Day rates are negotiable, and additional benefits will depend on the work status of candidates.
