Our client is a successful and highly reputable vehicle manufacturer and conversion specialist. They are looking for people to join them as a Vehicle Assembly Operative / Mechanical Assembler. This is role will go permanent after 3 months worked probation, and will have a pay increase once you go permanent.

Previous experience in a Manufacturing / Assembly / Fitting / Finishing / Production / similar role, where care and attention to detail is important.
Experience of working with relevant tools e.g. hand / power tools and air operated tools, etc.
The ability to understand and follow complex engineering drawings / assembly instructions.
Full UK Driving License

The company is looking for people that are used to working with hand and power tools, and that can follow diagrams and instructions with precision. Ideally you will be from a vehicle manufacturing, coach building, or similar Automotive related industry, however this is not essential. For example, if you have a background in a manufacturing / assembly / joinery, where care, quality, finesse, and attention to detail is important, you may be considered.

As a Vehicle Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacture and installation of parts to convert vehicles. You will always ensure every task in the build process is completed to the highest quality standards, the role works within a continuous hand assembly process - working with relevant tools, to ensure the production process continues to flow efficiently. You will also be asked to do vehicle testing, repairing and commissioning components.

Salary (this increases when you go permanent): £12.50 to £13.00 per hour + Overtime on Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Hours of work: 4 day week, Monday - Wednesday, 6.00am to 4.00pm, and Thursday 6.00am to 3.00pm.
