Senior Fire Engineer

One of the UK's leading independent fire engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Senior Fire Engineer to join their expanding and experienced team.

With over 40 fire professionals in this office and 100+ across the UK, this consultancy delivers expert fire safety solutions across the residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors for both private and public sector clients.

The Senior Fire Engineer will lead small to medium-sized projects, working closely with internal and external design teams to develop, review, and implement fire strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects while contributing to complex fire engineering solutions across a range of building types.

• Leading fire engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Developing, reviewing, and implementing fire strategies for various building sectors.
• Collaborating with design teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Providing expert fire safety guidance on residential, commercial, and healthcare projects.
• Applying fire engineering principles to support innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Keeping up to date with UK fire safety legislation and best practices.

• An Engineering Council accredited BEng Hons or MEng or MSc
  field.
• Associate of IFE
• Formed a plan to become Chartered with a body such as the Engineering Council.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and design standards
• Demonstrate expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement.
• Develop and utilise additional computer modelling software, such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder, to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
