Job Purpose
The role involves delivering high-quality teaching in Forestry and Arboriculture, responding to student needs, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging and effective lessons, prepare materials, and conduct timely assessments.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and inclusivity.
- Administration: Complete necessary documentation and reports related to teaching activities.
- Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, following policies to ensure a safe environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in relevant meetings and training, keeping updated on educational policies and practices.
- Commitment to the principles of inclusive learning.
- Understanding of educational policies, safeguarding, and diversity initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support an enriching learning experience.
- Compliance with health and safety policies.
- Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
