Sonic Summary

A new permanent role is available in Lincoln, offering long-term stability and career progression opportunities.
Candidates should have at least NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Manufacture or equivalent, along with relevant experience in a high precision manufacturing environment.
The position requires problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on process improvements and documentation.
The salary is competitive, with overtime available when required, and the work schedule follows an A/B shift pattern.
Shifts are Monday to Friday, with A Shift from 6am to 1:35pm and B Shift from 1:25pm to 9:05pm, offering a 10% premium for B Shift.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

Problem solving to ensure production can carry on

Root, Cause, Corrective Action (RCCA)
5 Why’s

Process audits
Statistical Analysis
Process Improvements – Scrap / Rework / Downtime / Productivity
Creating and maintaining documentation & specifications
Training / validation

Desirable

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship
Computer literacy including Microsoft suite
Previous experience in a high precision manufacturing environment
English language and Maths to GCSE Grade C or above

Overtime available when required

A Shift No Premium

Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm

Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift 10% Premium

Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm

Friday 12:35pm to 7pm
