Working hours:  3 rotating week, AM, PM and nights

We are now seeking to recruit CNC miller to join a busy manufacturing precision engineering company based in Lincoln. This is permanent position, and the CNC Miller would ensure that manufactured parts conform to drawings provided.

Responsibilities of CNC miller:

Setting / operating CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines (Okuma / Mazak / HAAS / XYZ)

Ensure parts conform to drawings and are processed in the allotted timeframe.

Ensure all documentation is accurate.

Support the area in carrying out alternative tasks as required.

Achieving area targets as identified by Production Management

Expectation:

Working as part of the Milling team, you will ensure that manufactured parts conform to drawings provided.

You should be able to read engineering drawings, use standard measuring equipment and understand general machining principles.

The role will require you to set up and operate Milling machinery. This may include multi-manning machines.

You may be required to assist other CNC departments and carry out alternative tasks as required.

The appropriate candidate would be able to work on 3 rotating shifts:

A Shift                           Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm, Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift                           Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm, Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

C Shift                           Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am
