We are seeking skilled Grinding & Turning Team Members to join the manufacturing team for our well established client in Lincoln. In this temporary role, you will play a crucial part in operating grinding and turning machinery to produce precision components used in cutting-edge aerospace and automotive applications.

This role is based on a Temporary Basis - which is ongoing with Guaranteed weekly hours

These roles will be on a 2 shift rotation pattern

A shift - Monday - Thursday - 6am - 13.35pm and Friday 6am - 12.45pm
B Shift (20% Premium) Monday - Thursday 13.25pm - 21.05pm and Friday 12.35pm - 19.00pm

Hourly rates for these roles vary depending on experience starting from £11.79 - £15.31 - This will be discussed at Interview

Your Time at Work

  • Operate manual and track grinding machines to produce high-precision metal components.
  • Set up and calibrate machinery for different production runs, ensuring specifications are met.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Document production activities, including completed work, machine maintenance, and any quality control issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and troubleshoot issues.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with manual and track grinding machines or lathes, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. If you have a background in machining, engineering, or metalwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! We are willing to seek and speak to applicants with minimal experience in the above.

With a background in manufacturing/production, though this is NOT essential.

You will require a good work history, a keen eye for detail and a willingness to work and learn a new skill
