The School and Role  

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start a fixed term contract at a Primary School in Retford. The school are looking for the ideal candidate to be motivated, supportive and have the drive to ensure that children achieve to their highest potential.  

 

The role will include: 

  • Providing intervention groups across school to help children in different areas of learning  

  • Being an excellent practitioner and be committed to keeping high levels of attainment and progress for all students.  

  • Taking the class to cover PPA Cover, this will be required in KS1 and KS2 

 

The school is a vibrant and diverse primary school located in the centre of Retfordproviding education for children aged 3 to 11 years. Most children at this school speak English as an additional language. The school is proud of their multi-cultural community.  

 

Requirements  

The desired Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will have;  

  • Have an excellent understanding of how children learn
