Accounts AssistantAccount Assistant - Study Support - Development Role - CIMANigel Wright are currently working with a reputable business in North Tyneside seeking a progressive and Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting development role that will allow the successful candidate to begin their CIMA journey. The RoleYou'll join a high growth, acquisitive business an Accounts Assistant and your key responsibilities will be:
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Performing variance analysis and report findings to senior management.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconciling balance sheets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Providing support in internal and external audits.
  • Assisting with financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial policies are adhered to.
The CandidateIdeally, you will have/be: 
  • AAT Qualified & willing to pursue CIMA qualification with company support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
