The role offers a pay rate of £17 - £18 per hour through Umbrella or CIS with a long run of work.
Candidates must have a City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery, along with a CSCS card and previous social housing maintenance experience.
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, focusing on 2nd fix maintenance.
Asbestos awareness and manual handling certifications are also required for the position.

I am looking for a Joiner to work on behalf of a local council in the North Shields area. The successful candidate will carry out reactive maintenance on domestic properties across the North Shields and wider area. Work will include planned maintenance such as hanging doors, replacing architraves and installing skirting.

The Joiner will receive:

17 - 18 P/H Umbrella or CIS
Long run of work

The successful candidate will be expected to complete:

Planned maintenance on domestic properties
8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
2nd fix maintenance to a high standard
