Manual Miller
We are looking for a manual miller to join our clients team on a permanent basis in the North Shields area. Our client are a leading provider of precision engineering services with a focus on high-quality manufacturing and bespoke solutions. Specializing in CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly, the company serves a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, and defence. Key Requirements:
- Previous work in a similar role is essential
- Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical engineering drawings
- Manual handling and Overhead Crane training/ experience is essential
Key Responsibilites:
- Machine components in accordance to the route card and technical drawings
- Assist in fitting of components
- Operate and set manual milling machines
- Operate conventional milling machines to produce high precision parts, to exact standards
- Responsible for their own quality; measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining
Working Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 16.00pm
Friday 7.30am - 14.30pm
Pay:
£15 - £16 per hour, depending on experience
