Role: Service Coordinator

The Role:
- Promote services and manage customer requests efficiently.
- Handle daily tasks promptly and accurately, escalating issues when needed.
- Keep customers informed about service interventions.
- Provide administrative support to the Service Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on service and sales tasks.
- Administer quotes, service requests, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Arrange service visits and coordinate logistics.
- Compile and issue invoices.
- Maintain market awareness and support client relationships.
- Manage ISO 9001 policy implementation.
- Assist with service-related quotations.
- Review service reports and identify sales opportunities.
- Suggest improvements and undertake delegated tasks.
- Administer service calls and purchase orders up to £100K.
- Manage day-to-day activities independently.
- Work assigned based on customer inquiries and requests.
- Make decisions on quotations and purchase requests.
- Prioritize and expedite service requests.
- Understand the impact of decisions and demonstrate strong commercial skills.
- Exercise judgment to avoid delays and escalate issues promptly.
- Interact with all departments, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work independently, delegate tasks, and multitask.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship skills.
This role involves liaising with international customers, which may require working outside of normal hours.
Normal hours: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
