Are you an experienced Secretary or Audio Typist with a passion for conveyancing?

Our client is looking for a dynamic, organised, and detail-oriented Conveyancing Secretary to join their friendly and supportive team!

You will be proactive and organised, able to manage a varied and fast-paced workload while ensuring that nothing is overlooked. With a client-focused approach, you will provide excellent service to clients, solicitors, and lenders, handling communications with professionalism. In this small office environment, you will embody a strong team spirit, ready to support your colleagues and adapt to different tasks as needed. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and data protection standards.

Are you the right person for the job?

Essential:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Experience in a busy office environment
  • Legal experience in conveyancing

Desirable:

  • Experience in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Skills & Aptitudes:

  • Strong ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a team environment
  • A commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering work to the highest standard

  • Audio Typing – Accurately transcribe legal documents with speed and precision
  • Document Preparation – Prepare and file correspondence, focusing on conveyancing matters
  • Client & Third Party Updates – Keep clients and stakeholders informed with timely, professional updates
  • Diary Management – Organise schedules and appointments, ensuring efficient use of time
  • Reception Support – Assist with front desk duties when necessary
