We are looking to recruit two Grounds Maintenance Operatives on our North Tyneside Contract.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll be required to carry out a variety of technical service tasks with regards to landscaping maintenance, flora and fauna, trees, shrubs and lawns. You will also be able to demonstrate experience and accomplish basic multiskilled repairs. You’ll manage all tools and equipment necessary for grounds and building works, ensuring all PPE is provided and materials ready prior to undertaking any tasks. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates will have previous experience as a qualified grounds maintenance operative and must be competent in safe use of pesticides, with your PA01 and PA06 certification. Your experience will ideally be within the Construction and Facilities Maintenance industry and you’ll hold a relevant qualifications, with excellent working H & S knowledge. Customer focused with experience of working in and around occupied and void properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality works on time, first time.

You’ll hold a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card and hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

This role will have a requirement for flexible working due to seasonal variations in works and workloads.
