Location: Hybrid role with North Tyneside Office 

Salary: Starting Salary from £30,000 + Benefits

Contract: Permanent role

Hours: Mon-Fri / Full time (35 hours) & Part time available

Due to continued growth, my client is currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Motor Claims Handler to join their thriving claims department. As Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of insurance claims, supporting customers through their specific journey through to successful completion of each claim. Applicants for Senior Motor Claims Handler must have a minimum of 3 years Motor claims processing experience.

This role is open to those looking for full or part time hours, and offers hybrid working – up to 2 days a week working from home (following an initial training period).

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with all aspects of motor claims & supporting customers through their motor claim journey
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, third party providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to deliver high level of customer satisfaction reflective of client brand
  • Manage inbound & outbound communication from policyholders and third parties to assist in swift closure of claims and to reduce any unnecessary costs of the claim.
  • Ensure all documentation and information is attained then recorded to assist liability decision & compliance
  • Manage own portfolio of claims, prioritising as required managing timeframes/deadlines successfully to ensure closure of claims.

About you:

  • Minimum of 3 years Motor claims processing
  • Proven experience working in a Motor Insurance Claims Department, dealing with the end-to-end claims process
  • Motivated individual
  • Ability to work as part of an effective Team
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
