KCR Solutions are delighted to be working on behalf of this fabulous charity to recruit a Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will be as follows:

  • Processing and posting invoices, receipts, and payments accurately
  • Posting bank transactions, reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting with the reconciliation of key control accounts and inter-company accounts
  • Helping manage and track restricted funds, unrestricted funds and donations
  • Recording housing benefit, rent and service charge receipts
  • Providing support with data analysis for the housing division
  • Assisting with general finance administration and supporting the Finance Managers with their finance needs
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes including participating in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with finance reports, budgets and forecasts
  • Helping with statutory audits and providing necessary documentation as required
  • Assisting HR team and outsourced payroll provider with preparation of monthly payroll

You will be AAT qualified or part qualified and have worked in a similar role previously. A strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping is essential. Experience with Xero and Excel would be advantageous.
