TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school based in Grays, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Mentor. This thriving school is passionate about providing an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported to succeed.

The school is looking to take on a driven and compassionate Behaviour Mentor on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will work closely with pupils who need additional support, helping to promote positive behaviour and emotional development. The Senior Leadership Team is committed to providing a collaborative and supportive environment for the Behaviour Mentor from day one.

The successful Behaviour Mentor will have:
• Experience working with children in an educational setting (previous experience in behaviour support is desirable)
• A passion for working with children and helping them overcome behavioural barriers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, patient, and understanding approach
• Experience with de-escalation strategies and promoting positive behaviour
