Assistant Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Financial Controller to join a growing and dynamic organisation. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the group. Reporting to Finance Director, this position offers excellent career progression within a forward-thinking finance team. This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

What will the Assistant Financial Controller role involve?

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.
• Ownership of statutory accounts and audit processes, including UK and overseas compliance.
• Balance sheet control and financial reporting, ensuring robust reconciliations and governance.
• Finance system management and process improvement, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across the group.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Financial Controller role:

• Qualified accountant.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
