Sales Executive – 6 month contract

Location: Site based at North Tawton, Devon, EX20 2FJ

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Thursday to Monday, 37.5 hrs per week - 6 month contract

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a 6-month contract based at their site in North Tawton, Devon. As one of their valued Sales Executives, your role is primarily to provide the day-to-day sales function on one of their developments and to be the primary Allison Homes contact for current and potential customers.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a professional service to all their customers with the aim of achieving sale and financial targets on allocated developments. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to build a professional rapport with customers to understand their needs and requirements. These should encompass listening and questioning abilities, empathy, product demonstration, and closing techniques

You will have responsibility for delivering the customer journey in accordance with the company’s standards, procedures, and targets.

Sales experience in New Homes is preferrable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve new homes sales in line with agreed targets.
  • Proven ability to effectively close sales and drive results.
  • Effectively manage the COINS database (for which training will be given).
  • Respond to enquiries effectively and in a timely manner – visits, telephone calls, and emails.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork and site administration is accurate, up to date and GDPR complaint.
  • Liaise with customers, solicitors, and estate agents etc on all aspects of construction and sales progression.
  • To maintain adequate stocks of literature and price lists ensuring their accuracy.
  • Ensure that your site plans are kept up to date and align with the versions used by the Site Manager.
  • Stay informed about competitors' products, pricing, sales, and market rates.
  • Maintain the presentation of the show homes and the marketing suite, including off site sales signage.
  • Contribute to Marketing and PR proposals.
  • Comply with the company Health & Safety standards.
  • Understand and act upon customer needs to maintain company reputation.
  • Good time keeping is essential and the ability to manage an electronic diary system will be needed.

  • Strong administrative and computer skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Must hold a full driving licence and have use of own vehicle for business travel.
