Sonic Summary
- We are recruiting LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Day Drivers for a logistics company based in North Tawton, responsible for trunking bulk loads of milk and packaging products.
- This position is temporary, with flexible hours available, catering to both ad-hoc and full-time drivers, and includes a full induction and training.
- Candidates must have held their Class 1 licence for at least two years and will work Monday to Friday, starting at 6am, with regular weekend shifts available.
- Hourly pay rates are £16.00 per hour from Monday to Friday, with increased rates on weekends: £17.00 on Saturdays and £18.00 on Sundays.
- Additional benefits include 28 days annual leave, possible permanent opportunities after a trial period, and a referral bonus scheme.
You will be based out of their North Tawton depot, where you will be responsible for trunking bulk loads of milk and packaging products to RDCs, as well as inter-depot movements and collections from customers.
This is temporary work. We are busy with work so we can be flexible, this means we can cater for drivers who are looking for ad-hoc or full-time hours each week, on a regular ongoing basis.
Full induction and training is provided.
Due to insurances, you must have held your Class 1 licence for at least two years.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 6am starts daily
Regular weekends shifts available too, as this depot operates 7 days a week.
Hourly Pay Rates (PAYE):
Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
Saturday: £17.00 per hour
Sunday: £18.00 per hour
