General Manager – North WalshamÂ
Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced General Manager for an award-winning facilities management company based in North Walsham.
How does the day-to-day look?
- Supervising and participating in the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms, and other spaces
- Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits, and assisting with the recruitment of new team members
- Identifying and delivering on-site training, while maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with investigations related to personal accidents or potential disciplinary matters
- Managing on-site cleaning supplies, maintaining stock levels, and placing orders in line with site budgets
You will have:
- The right to work in the UK
- Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor within cleaning or a related field (highly desirable)
- Confidence and proficiency in managing rotas, staffing, training, and maintaining basic HR compliance
- Excellent customer service skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using internal systems and software
- The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility with working hours and days
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00 (with a day off in the week) during peak season and then Monday to Friday during off peak
Salary:  £35,000
