Atkinson Moss are delighted to be supporting their client in search of a part-time, Materials Administrator. They are looking for someone with experience in a similar position who can hit the ground running within their fast-paced environment. The role will sit across the office and warehouse with 50% of the time spent in each.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Ensure Health and Safety awareness by promoting a zero-accident culture and adhering to all legal and company policies.
  • Process customer orders within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Communicate with customers regarding pricing, delivery dates, order confirmations, and scheduling details.
  • Assist with sales reporting and production scheduling, ensuring effective communication is maintained across teams.
  • Provide the warehouse with pick tickets 72 hours before outbound shipments. Ensure all dispatch documents are processed and supplied within the required timeframes.
  • Review invoices to verify their accuracy.
  • Ensure all goods in and out are properly documented, including the appropriate labels.
  • Support the Materials Co-Ordinator with the following tasks when necessary:
    • Conduct daily cycle counts on inventory and provide reports.
    • Receive and record all incoming raw materials (including Silos), completing the RM booking process and storing materials using FIFO.
    • Ensure sufficient consumables and dry goods are available to meet production requirements for the next 24 hours, including weekend coverage.
    • Manage the stock control process, including ordering pallets, CHEP, RTPs, and overseeing the sale of reground materials.
    • Oversee the collection, processing, and rebooking of returned raw materials from production (including machine checks), ensuring proper labeling and FIFO storage.

This is a permanent, part-time role offering a maximum of 25hrs per week across 3 full days or 5 shorter days - days can be flexible.
