Working closely with the Departmental Manager and Team Leaders, you will be responsible for first line maintenance, repairs and servicing of factory assets including injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.Maintenance Engineer - Benefits/Hours
  • Alternate bi weekly day & night shifts (6am - 6pm & 6pm - 6am)
  • Overtime (not guaranteed) would be paid at 1.6 of the hourly rate
  • 23 days of holiday
  • Pension - ER 4% contribution
Maintenance Engineer - Key Responsibilities
  • Risk assess, Document and communicate process/services modifications
  • Planned maintenance and manage Operator Asset Care to plan, including machine and services safety systems
  • Provide effective reactive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of the production and utility equipment and systems.
  • Identification and sourcing of replacement parts and work to ensure the most cost effective option.
  • Adherence to operational instructions and procedures, adherence to existing technical regulations and the statutory provisions and regulations
Maintenance Engineer - Key Skills
  • Experience of maintenance in manufacturing operations.
  • Proactive in fault finding – mechanical (including hydraulic and pneumatic systems) and electrical.
  • Mechanical qualification at approved and certified national competence level and Electrical qualification (HNC/HND preferred).
  • Process knowledge of moulding advantageous
