- Carrying out precise calibrations in an accredited lab – you'll be the one making sure everything measures up.
- Getting out and about to provide on-site calibration and repair services – no two days are the same!
- Analysing uncertainties and creating budgets that keep everything ticking over smoothly.
- Writing up detailed reports and certificates – your work will be the gold standard.
- Using your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues down to the component level.
- You’ve got an HNC/HND/Degree in physics, maths, or a related scientific field – you know your stuff.
- Experience in an accredited lab? Perfect. You’re the calibration guru we’re looking for. If not, don't worry - full training will be provided.
- You’re confident with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access – if you know your way around Visual Basic, even better.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential – you’ll need it for those on-site visits.
- You’re organised, methodical, and have a keen eye for detail – nothing gets past you.
