Atkinson Moss are pleased to be working with their client in search for a Supply Chain Administrator on a part-time, permanent basis.

My client is based on the outskirts of North Norwich and operates within the manufacturing industry. They are an ambitious company reaching to be the preferred global supplier within their industry, all whilst maintaining a focus on sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint and allowing their clients to offer a more sustainable solution.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, key to ensuring customer requirements are met and on time. You will be responsible for taking orders and exporting to the customer or importing to the deliveries/supply chain. Enabling customer and supplier partnerships to enhance and uphold the reputation of a market leading company.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Transport planning - ensuring full utilisation of load capacity to maximise space and reduce logistical costs.
  • Receive and process orders within 48hrs of receipt
  • Respond to customer queries regarding pricing, delivery information, order confirmations & schedules etc
  • Provide assistance with sales reporting and production scheduling
  • Co-ordinate Order documentation for export and import shipments
  • Communicating with shippers, customers, border control, customers, suppliers, Internal departments & HMRC
  • Generate pick tickets to the warehouse within required timescales
  • Process and supply dispatch documentation within the relevant timescales
  • Maintain reports and clearance document
  • Resolve or escalate any issues to ensure the expected delivery date is met
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Health and Safety awareness following all legal and company procedures.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience of working within export and import shipping administration and logistics planning is essential
  • Previous experience of working within manufacturing is essential
  • Knowledge of customer tariffs and regulations will be well regarded
  • Excellent customer service
  • IT literate in MS Office and MRP type systems
  • Excellent internal and external communications
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work within a fastpaced environment
  • Health and Safety Awareness

This is a part-time, permanent position covering up to 26hrs each week. This can be made up of 3 full days or 5 half days. There is free parking and the position offers a salary up to £28,000 dependant on experience (Pro rata'd)
