We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Assistant for a rescue service to support the Clinical Support Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring that all medical equipment and supplies are properly stocked, maintained, and ready for use. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, as well as experience in logistics and stock control.

A key part of this position is the person needs to be happy to drive a company vehicle's across to locations. (must be over 25 for insurance reasons)

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Clinical Support manager with the management of medical stock and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, re-order supplies as needed, and ensure accurate record-keeping of stock.
  • Manage logistics and delivery of medical equipment to various locations as required.
  • Maintain a organised storage area for medical supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the timely delivery of essential stock.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruptions due to stock shortages.
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to identify specific equipment or stock needs.
  • Perform periodic audits of medical stock and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in stock control and logistics
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Can use Microsoft packages
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE
