Facilities Maintenance Assistant

This is a exciting opportunity to join an experienced maintenance team at this 44bed Care Home in Kings Lynn. You will be maintaining the building and gardens to the highest possible standard, creating a welcoming first impression for visitors and a source of enjoyment and great pleasure for the residents and their families.
You will be working between 16hrs per week, Monday- Friday.
You will be involved in all types of property refurbishment and maintenance including painting & decorating, basic plumbing, like for like electrical work and tiling. The ideal person must be self-driven, able to meet deadlines, have the ability to problem solve and complete a wide variety of tasks on their own as well as of part of a team.
Key Responsibilities of a Facilities Maintenance Assistant:
- Ensure that the home, equipment and gardens are maintained to a high standard and remain fully functional to our residents and visitors.
- Carry out maintenance work on the home’s grounds, gardens and building externals to produce an aesthetically pleasing, well maintained and safe environment.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained and safely secured at all times.
- Ensure that all work undertaken is with full consideration to the comfort, security and sensitivity of the residents.
