What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the Care Team: Set high standards of care and work alongside the care staff to implement them. You’ll be the go-to person for your team, helping them grow, develop, and feel supported in their roles.
  • Managing the Home in the GM’s Absence: Ensure smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable – your leadership will ensure continuity and stability.
  • Audit & Quality Control: Work with the General Manager to set and review home standards, including ensuring monthly audits are conducted. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards that they’re known for.
  • Medications & Procedures: Ensure medications are administered properly and that all procedures are followed to keep both staff and residents safe.
  • Rotas & Staffing: Prepare and manage clinical staff rotas to ensure that the residents’ needs are always met. You’ll play an essential part in staffing and scheduling to keep everything running like clockwork.
  • Motivating the Team: With your positive leadership, you’ll delegate responsibilities, promote teamwork, and encourage staff to always strive for excellence in everything they do.

  • Leadership Experience: You’ll need previous management experience, ideally in the care sector, so you can hit the ground running and lead with confidence.
