Revenues Officer

Northallerton

£16 per hour (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (3 Months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Revenues Officer in Northallerton. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

  • Dealing with customers who are in arrears with their council Tax and Business Rates
  • Making arrangements to clear debts, chasing missed payments
  • Accounts prior to and following the granting of Liability Orders
  • Looking to move accounts to charging orders, bankruptcy's and any actions allowable following the Liability Order
  • Communication will be via telephone, email and written letter

The candidate:

  • Experience of Northgate systems essential
  • IRRV qualification most desirable
  • Knowledge of legislation and practice for either revenues and benefits administration or both with skills to interpret and apply new legislation
