Job OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial principles, enabling them to provide expert advice to clients on tax-related matters. This role requires excellent analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Analyse clients' financial situations to identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax legislation and financial regulations that may impact clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax preparation and planning purposes.
  • Utilise accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other tools to manage accounts payable and financial records effectively.
  • Assist clients with financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other relevant platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in providing financial services related to tax advisory is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
